Vera Sokolova

Born in Saint-Petersburg

In 2007 she began studying on the Directing faculty of the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS), studio of D. Krymov and E.Kamenkovich (Art Department).

In 2008, designed Erlend Loe’s «Kurt Turns Evil»" in theater "Sovremenik" (Moscow)

In 2010, together with Alina Brovina, designed  Bulgakov’s «Dog’s Heart» in Drama Theatre of Vladimir.

In 2010, participated in The International Theatre Testival-Forum “Direction Space” in Perm.

In 2010, participated in an exhibition of young artists in the "New Manege" during "Night of Museums" (Moscow).

In 2011, together with Alina Brovina and Olga Nikitina, designed Russian Theatre Festival «Five evenings» dedicated to Alexander Volodin (Saint-Petersburg)

In 2011, participated in International Project Street Stories, Prague Quadrennial (Prague)

In 2011, together with Alina Brovina, designed Tennessee Williams’s “The Glass Menagerie” in Drama Theatre of Barnaul

 

Participant in productions "Katerina's Dreams" and "A Story: Dido & Aeneas"
